HOW TO MEMORIZE NEW TERMS AND EXPRESSIONS IN ENGLISH?
It is always possible to acquire new vocabulary from which you can learn while continuing to strengthen your skills.
I. REPHRASE TERMS WITHIN SENTENCES
It is recommended to rephrase terms within sentences in order to get not only the ready-made elements for the conversation, but also the elements that fit perfectly into a practical situation truly adapted to what exactly you want to convey to your interlocutor.
II. STAY TRUE TO THE WORD ENVIRONMENT YOU WANT
- In fact, don't spread yourself too thin in terms of the load of items to memorize, because you might have a lot of unnecessary words that won't make sense to you in terms of how you use them.
- This is why I recommend sticking to the word environment in which you plan to use the vocabulary as well as the people you are going to address.
II. READ VOCABULARY RELATED TO YOUR ENVIRONMENT REGULARLY
- So make sure you indulge in the terms or phrases you want to use or you are likely to use on a regular basis to promote memory retention. Regularly read the vocabulary related to your environment, at least that which you would like to master in line with the skills to be acquired.
IV. REPEAT THE PHRASES YOU HAVE DECIDED TO CHOOSE
- Do not hesitate to repeat the phrases you have decided to choose, while doing something else, putting them in the foreground most of the time, without of course, being distracted from what you are doing! Repeat this for as long as you deem appropriate to eventually store the maximum number of phrases in your memory and be ready for use at the first communication opportunity.
